Knit School - How to Knit Stitch

Step-by-Step Guide

Insert your right knitting wand behind the first stitch on your left knitting wand.

Wrap the yarn around the right wand from back to front in an anti-clockwise direction.

Carefully push your right wand downwards until the tip reaches your left wand.

It should look like this as you catch the loop with the tip of the right wand and pull through the gap.

Gently pull your right wand so that the stitch you've just knitted moves off your left wand.

You've now knitted your first stitch!

Your knitting adventures have begun!

Now repeat these steps again to knit your second stitch and so on, until you have finished your row.
